…summer, of course:) I am loving the heatwave, storing up vitamin D and drinking plenty of water.
When it comes to cooking, I am a little bit on a lazy side these days. Well, I cooked some broccoli yesterday. That’s about it. And served this for dinner to a guest:
I took advantage of a cooler morning today though and cooked me some porridge. With almond milk, banana, peanut butter (for added protein) and a strawberry from my garden:)
And for my dear friend, Rosa, who visits this blog for menu inspirations: I suggest you make yourself a smoothie for dinner.
I always keep frozen fruit in the freezer (where else??), so the only other thing you need is a blender and milk/yogurt/fruit juice, depending on what takes your fancy. You can also add ice-cream, to make it that little bit extra special:)
It works with fresh fruit as well, in which case you can add ice cubes (if your blender can handle it) or just have it at room temperature. Frozen fruit makes the consistency very ice-creamy, which I love. You can also add sugar/honey/dried fruit to sweeten it, if you like, but for me – a banana does the job perfectly. I also add a pinch of cinnamon, but then I add it most foods:)
PS My blender may be on its way out….:(
PS2 School started yesterday:)))))))
